More often than not, I am the one who is cooking after work. However, every once in a while I get surprised with a home cooked meal, ready and on a set table when I get home. BOYFRIENDS/HUSBANDS – it doesn’t have to be a fancy meal and it doesn’t have to be a special occasion. It doesn’t even have to be a surprise! Obviously this is a lot easier if you live together. The other night Byron made a steak salad. It was simple, delicious and quick. He seared the steak in a pan, made a chimichurri and added a few bocconcini. It looked beautiful and tasted great!
Recently I’ve talked to a lot of people who love food, and have been reading my blog but still haven’t taken the plunge into their kitchen yet. Start small! Make a salad dressing or a sandwich using chicken you sautéed yourself. Cooking, like anything in life, is easier once you’re familiar with it and the more you do it the more you’ll want to do it.
But first you have to try.
Bravo Byron!
